Every element of Celebrity Cruises’ new ships has been taken to the edge of possibilities.
After Celebrity Edge® debuted in 2018, Time magazine declared it “One of the World’s Great Places.” The ship defied all expectations thanks to an all-star roster of architects and designers who were encouraged to break the barrier between inside and outside and bring guests close to the sea in luxurious splendor. With floor-to-ceiling windows, soaring ceilings, spacious guest suites, and the revolutionary Magic Carpet® which makes tendering a joy thanks to a full bar and stunning views of the sea, Celebrity Edge® is (pardon the pun) truly cutting edge.
With the success of the Edge, Celebrity is pleased to present two more Edge Series ships: Celebrity Apex® and Celebrity BeyondSM. Celebrity Apex® debuted in 2021 and the newest Edge Series ship, Celebrity BeyondSM, was launched in April 2022 with Olympic gymnast Simon Biles as her godmother and Captain Kate McCue, America’s first female cruise captain, at the helm. Celebrity AscentSM, the 4th Edge Series ship, is coming in December 2023 and will be sailing the Caribbean during its inaugural season.
The Retreat: All Suites. All Exclusive. All Included.
For the height of exclusivity, all Edge Series ships feature The Retreat, an all-suite, five-star hotel at sea with its own private lounge, sundeck with pool and hot tub, and a dedicated concierge team that can book private journeys, spa treatments, dinner reservations, and anything else you desire. Retreat suites are designed in a neutral palette with panoramic windows that give the ocean a starring role. All have white marble bathrooms and spacious verandas. New to The Retreat are the opulent Iconic Suites which have over 2,500 square feet of indoor and outdoor space with panoramic views from front to back. These two-bedroom, two bath suites are the largest in the Celebrity fleet. The Retreat amenities include premium beverages, free WiFi, prepaid gratuities, and an onboard credit that can be used as you please.
Discover Dining that Opens Your World
World-famous, Michelin-starred chef Daniel Boulud is Celebrity’s Global Culinary Ambassador and his restaurant, Luminae, is reserved exclusively for Retreat guests. A celebration of Mediterranean ingredients and flavors, highlights include Boulud’s signature dishes: chilled carrot and ginger velouté soup, chicken tagine with North African spices; and a delicate raspberry pistachio meringue with vanilla cream.
Celebrity BeyondSM will welcome Daniel Boulud’s first signature restaurant at sea, Le VoyageSM by Daniel Boulud. The menu, inspired by Boulud’s world travels will include delicacies like beef tartare à la Tunisienne with harissa; Thai curry prawns; and Brazilian moqueca, a lightly spiced seafood stew.
Experience Europe’s Stunning Coasts
All three Edge Series ships will explore the highlights and hidden gems of Europe in 2023. Celebrity Edge® will travel to Italy, France, and Spain calling on the sophisticated cities of Florence, Rome, and Barcelona, the beguiling islands of Corsica, Sicily, and Capri, and the charming towns and villages of the French and Italian Rivieras. During the summer of 2023, Celebrity Apex® will embark from Amsterdam and call on ports in Scandinavia, the British Isles, Ireland, and Iceland. Highlights will include Norway’s fjords, the Scottish Highlands, and the cosmopolitan and picturesque capitals of Oslo, Stockholm, and Helsinki. Come autumn, Celebrity Apex® will visit Jerusalem, Israel; Alexandria, Egypt; and ancient Mediterranean gems including the well-preserved ruins of Ephesus and the Acropolis in Athens.
Celebrity Beyond® will sail round-trip from Rome with various itineraries that will call on ports in Croatia, Montenegro, Turkey, and the Greek Islands. Superlative stops include Europe’s southernmost fjord in Montenegro’s Bay of Kotor and Dubrovnik, the world’s most beautiful walled city.
Celebrity has created the Edge Series to take cruising to the next level of design and luxury, and guests on board Celebrity Edge®, Celebrity Apex®, Celebrity BeyondSM, and soon Celebrity AscentSM will learn what it means to sail on a ship “designed to leave the future behind.”

Wellness is so fundamental to Celebrity’s philosophy; they’ve created a whole new way to nourish your mind and body. AquaClass® Sky Suites combine the best of their rejuvenating AquaClass experience with the ultimate luxury of The Retreat®. These suites feature a king-sized* bed with exclusive eXhale® bedding and a spacious, private veranda. Spa-inspired elements are thoughtfully infused throughout, including eco-friendly bath products, on-demand wellness programming on your stateroom TV, yoga mats, in-stateroom fitness amenities, daily bottled water service, and an enhanced air filtration system—which you’ll now find in all staterooms.
