The Southernmost Hotel on Earth

By the end of 2025, Silversea is set to introduce another level to their Antarctica adventures. The cruise line will open a new 150-room hotel called The Cormorant at 55 South in Puerto Williams, Chile—the southernmost city on Earth. The seamless Silversea Expeditions experience is further enhanced for those on the Antarctica fly-cruise program. They fly from Chile’s capital city Santiago directly to Puerto Williams and then on to King George Island in Antarctica.

The hotel overlooks the Beagle Channel, is surrounded by pristine forest, and boasts views of the water and picturesque snow-capped Patagonian mountains. Guest amenities include a restaurant, a bar and lounge, fitness center, and gift shop where you can purchase handicrafts and art by local artisans.
