Meet Norwegian’s Prima Class Ships.

Introducing the newest Norwegian Cruise Line ships: Norwegian Prima (currently sailing) and Norwegian Viva (Summer 2023). As the first of six ships in NCL’s cutting edge Prima Class, these two vessels boast all sorts of innovative features – from zero-waste cocktails to transformative entertainment venues to ten-story freefall slides.
Elevated Dining Experiences
One of the biggest changes on NCL’s Prima Class vessels is the food scene. Both Norwegian Prima and Norwegian Viva boast seven new dining experiences for guests to enjoy. Pop by Palomar, a high-end Mediterranean restaurant serving up mouthwatering plates like wild sea bass with saffron carrot puree and grilled lamb chops with gigantes beans. Head to Hasuki, an elevated hibachi-style restaurant, where Japanese-inspired dishes are prepared right before your eyes. Or make your way to the Metropolitan Bar for a zero-waste cocktail or two.
Even the main dining rooms have been spruced up on this innovative fleet of ships. Both Hudson’s and The Commodore Room boast refined seating areas and revamped fixed menus. As you sail from one country to another, you’ll also get to taste dishes from all around the world – from beef wellington to shrimp creole to paella.

Reimagined Entertainment Venues
Each ship in NCL’s Prima Class has a transformative three-story Theater & Club. During the day, enjoy fun game show-esque activities, like The Price Is Right Live. When evening rolls around, catch one of NCL’s classic Broadway-inspired performances. And late into the night, watch this modern venue transform into a trendy club, complete with exciting lighting effects, a packed dance floor, and an epic DJ.
Enhanced Spa Treatments
The Mandara Spa has always been a hit on Norwegian Cruise Line’s ships. Between the relaxing massages, the anti-aging facial treatments, the flotation salt pools, and the revitalizing ice rooms, you’d always leave feeling pampered and refreshed. But NCL has still managed to step things up on Norwegian Prima and Norwegian Viva. In addition to the beloved classics, these brand-new ships also include a state-of-the-art infrared sauna, a zero-gravity wellness massage, and a detoxing charcoal sauna, so you can feel better than ever before.

Thrilling Onboard Amenities
Arguably the most adrenaline-inducing, blood-pumping innovation on Norwegian Cruise Line’s Prima Class vessels is The Rush & The Drop. These three twisting, turning slides take you from the edge of the 18th deck all the way down to the 8th deck of the ship in just a matter of seconds. As the fastest dry slides at sea, you’ll experience the thrill of freefall in a way like never before. You can even race a friend all the way down to the bottom to see who’d come out on top! Then, there’s incredible The Speedway. While previous NCL ships have had similar raceways, The Speedways on Norwegian Prima and Norwegian Viva are the longest and fastest at sea. Are you ready to leave the competition in the dust?
Experience The Haven
Step into an exclusive enclave, hidden away at the top of the ship, to experience their most luxurious, well-appointed and spacious accommodations.
