Sail through French Polynesia on an alluring Silversea voyage.
Remote and renowned, the beautiful islands of French Polynesia are a remote region that begs for discovery. You’re invited to savor turquoise seas, white powder beaches, kaleidoscopic marine life and lush hinterlands, all paired with luxurious suite life while at sea with Silversea.

Tropical Isles & Atolls Await
Silversea sails to three main French Polynesian archipelagos, all of which are blessed with stunning natural landscapes, flavorful cuisines, and rich multi-millennia-long histories. First, there’s the paradisiacal Society Islands, the westernmost French Polynesian archipelago. On land, you’ll find thriving volcanic isles, the nutrient-rich soil encouraging bright green flora on the low-lying mountains. By sea, turquoise waters protect a rainbow of corals and marine life. You have the opportunity to enjoy the best of both worlds with Silversea excursions – snorkel at a sunny beach, try your hand at making a couple of local dishes from foraged ingredients, or stick around to stargaze at the night sky, just to start.
Then, there are the Marquesas Islands at the northeastern end of French Polynesia. Hidden bays shimmer among hills full of verdant vegetation and wandering wildlife that serve as a backdrop to a vibrant culture. When you arrive, you’ll be greeted with smiles, sunshine, and a traditional lei (flower necklace). Don’t be surprised if the locals ply you with tropical fruits galore, while also sharing their love of music and dance for a full Marquesas Islands welcome.

Last but certainly not least, enjoy the Tuamotu Archipelago, with its 80 picture-perfect atolls, complete with swaying green palm trees, white sand bars, and teal ocean waves. The main islands, Rangiroa and Fakarava, are known for their deep clear lagoons and vibrant marine ecosystems. At the former, snorkel with tropical fish – and even the occasional dolphin – out in the wild or learn how shimmering pearls come to be at a local Black Pearl Farm. At the latter, don’t miss the island’s Blue Lagoon, a UNESCO Marine Biosphere Reserve with hundreds of species of tropical fish and coral.

Take It Slow
With extended day-long stays and multiple overnight visits in port, there’s no need to rush during your French Polynesia voyage. Take your time, exploring the islands at a slower pace and embracing a deeper connection with the archipelagos’ peoples, cultures, nature, and character. Plus, since you’ll be staying later into the day, you can enjoy some after-dark experiences, including enchanting sunset cruises, exciting fire shows, and next-level stargazing opportunities.
The Luxury of Choice
There are multiple French Polynesia sailings with Silversea for you to choose from. From week-long explorations of the Society Islands to a 21-night epic itinerary featuring a visit to Easter Island, you’ll always enjoy the most ultra-indulgent experience in the region. More than that, there’s the luxury of choice, with a range of spacious suites – from the cozy Vista Suite to the multi-bedroom Grand Suite – available to suit your specific wants and needs.
Prepare to step into another world.
Wherever you want to go, you can get there with Silversea.
