Alaska Meets the Magic

Sail through the best ports of The Great Land on a Disney Cruise Line voyage.

Combine Alaska’s beauty with Disney Cruise Line’s signature pixie dust, and you’ve got the recipe for a vacation to remember. Onboard either Disney Magic or Disney Wonder, you’ll sail to some of the coolest ports The Last Frontier has to offer, enjoying the ship’s fantastical touches and world-class family-friendly fun along the way.

Stare in Awe at Alaska’s Landscapes

Alaska’s landscapes have a sort of magic of their own, one that comes to life with sweeping fjords, sparkling glaciers, and wandering wildlife. Disney Cruise Line’s itineraries feature up to six Alaskan ports of call—and one scenic cruise-by past Stikine Icecap—for guests to get an up-close look at this whimsical wilderness. In Skagway, venture to the banks of the Chilkoot River to spot brown bears feasting on salmon or bald eagles soaring through the skies.

In Icy Strait, kayak through the icy cold waters around Pitt Island, where stunning views and potentially even some marine life await. And in Juneau, bike your way around—by road and by trail—for epic views of the famous Mendenhall Glacier.

Dive into Alaska’s Food Scene

No trip to Alaska would be complete without a taste of the state’s incredibly fresh seafood. Disney Cruise Line offers a variety of shore excursions that are all about the culinary—go crabbing in Ketchikan, eat salmon at an outdoor salmon bake in Juneau, or even take a hands—on seafood cooking class in Icy Strait Point, just to start.

Disney’s Entertainment Magic

Onboard the ships, Disney magic is woven into every nook and cranny—but the entertainment is where Disney magic shines brightest. Spend hours swimming in Mickey-shaped pools, watching Pixar movies under the stars, meeting your favorite Disney characters, and watching original Broadway-quality productions where your favorite characters are brought to life at sea.

“Kids also have access to exclusive kids’ clubs by age group, each with their own age-appropriate activities.”

Kids also have access to exclusive kids’ clubs by age group, each with their own age-appropriate activities, from Toy Story-themed playgrounds to beat-bumping dance parties. Adults have their own brand of Disney entertainment too, with adult-only pools, blissful spa treatments, and dimly lit nightclubs.

Themed Onboard Dining

Amidst all the fun and games, you’ll need to refuel, and each ship has more than its fair share of eateries. Dine with your favorite characters like Tiana and Naveen at Tiana’s Place on Disney Wonder, or with Rapunzel at Rapunzel’s Royal Table on Disney Magic. There are, of course, plenty of traditional dining options as well—grab a slice from Pinocchio’s Pizzeria, a scoop from Eye Scream Treats, or a fancy multi-course meal at Triton’s.

Rest & Repeat

At the end of it all, make your way back to your thoughtfully designed stateroom or suite. Most rooms accommodate three to four guests, perfect for a small family. But if you’ve got a larger group in mind, it’s as easy as saying Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo! You can book an additional stateroom nearby, or opt for one of the larger suites that can sleep up to seven guests. Before you know it, you’ll be resting up for another day of Alaskan adventures and Disney wonder.
