Eagle Rock is a four-room, exclusive lodge which was built with the most discerning traveler in mind. A short walk from the main Tyee Lodge, Fitness Center, Island Currents Spa and Business Center.

The glass and exposed timber structure sits on its own peninsula on Sonora Island, overlooking the ocean, and surrounded by total wilderness. It has four suites that can be enjoyed individually or as a private group. No expense has been spared in creating Sea Lion Pointe. From the architecture and design to the hand-picked linens and art collection, Sea Lion Pointe at our fishing resorts in Canada is ultra-luxurious.
Guests at Sea Lion Pointe can unwind on their own private deck with a roof top hot tub under the stars. The great room has a huge sweeping fireplace, mini grand piano, and opens onto a large terrace with views of the treasured Innes Passage. There is a fully covered outdoor seating area. On the mezzanine level, guests can wind down in the billiards room or snuggle up in the home theatre with adjoining wet bar.
The interior decor of Sea Lion Pointe reflects its exterior surroundings. Soaring ceilings, floor to ceiling windows, natural wood, color themes and design mirror the forests, water and wildlife of the surrounding area.

Sea Lion Pointe at our luxury adventure travel resort is now home to one of the largest commissions of BC art. The work of eleven West Coast artists ranging from glass to paint, kelp and woodwork add a cultured sophistication to Sea Lion's natural surroundings. A glass structure featuring seven stellar sea lions by internationally acclaimed Markian Olynyk and poles carved by Philip Gray, a young Tsimshian/Cree artist, is reflective of the ecologically and sensitive environment of Sonora Island.
At the end of the day, once you have finished your eco adventure travel tour, tennis and spa, your room awaits. A King-size bed, luxurious bed linens, a bath overlooking the Ocean and absolute solitude.

On the rocks, extending out over the water is the Marine lodge, with its navy blues and sunny yellows inspired by sailing and seafaring. Fittingly, ocean views are had from all four bedrooms, three of which include two Queen-sized beds, one of which includes a King-sized bed, all with private ensuites.
Also set above the rolling Yuculta Rapids, the suite’s private deck and hot tub provides a perfect spot for sipping wine and spotting shooting stars.

The Tyee Dining Room, Bar and Lounge area is made up of expansive wood floors and luxurious lounges with fireplaces. The dining room harbors a mini grand piano and is bordered by floor to ceiling windows. The Tapas bar and patio, just out front, is where wonderful food, breathtaking views and a magically warm atmosphere epitomizes the spirit of this special place. The sea air and the spectacular sunsets all add an unforgettable dimension to the dining experience.
Our Executive Chef, Lukas Gurtner, devises tasting menus each night paired with our sommelier’s hand-picked selection of fine wines from British Columbia and the major wine regions of the world. The son of an accomplished Swiss chef, Lukas launched his own culinary career with an apprenticeship at Victoria's Hotel Grand Pacific. He then moved to the celebrated Laurie Raphael in Montreal, then completed his training under Sonora's previous Executive Chef Terry Pichor, graduating from Chef de Partie to Executive Sous Chef, a position he held for five years. Lukas' philosophy is based on combining fresh, local ingredients with the freshest international food trends.
