Our Harbour View Deluxe Rooms are elegantly furnished and feature a spectacular view of Victoria's Inner Harbour. Each room is appointed with two armchairs and can comfortably accommodate up to two people.

Each of our spacious One Bedroom Suites features two rooms - a bedroom and parlor with dividing door. Most One Bedroom Suites feature one bathroom, while few are equipped with an additional powder room.

Signature Two Bedroom Harbour View Suite

Each of our Signature Two Bedroom Harbour View Suites feature three rooms in total - two bedrooms and one parlor. The master bedroom is furnished with one king bed, the second bedroom with two queen beds, and the parlor with a sofabed and ample space for a rollaway. Each bedroom is equipped with a private bathroom and full amenities.

Fairmont Gold City View

All Fairmont Gold Rooms offer business amenities, private direct-dial telephone with complimentary business cards and personalized wake-up calls. The other bedroom has a queen-size bed and separate full bathroom and closes off from the rest of the suite. Tea at the Empress

The iconic Empress Hotel opened its doors in January 1908. Today, Fairmont Empress proudly serves freshly prepared scones and tea pastries to more than 80,000 guests annually. During the summer months, the Empress serves more afternoon tea than most hotels in London. More than 400 people each day visit the Empress to indulge in a tradition that has been an important part of Victoria for more than 110 years. On your tea tiers, you'll find a menu resplendent with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. The strawberry jam for our freshly baked scones is made in-house from local berries, honey from our own bee hives and lavender from our rooftop garden. The teas are ethically sourced from the top tea producers in the world. Tea at the Empress is truly an elevated culinary experience.

Q Restaurant

This atmospheric space has a fresh contemporary feel, all the while staying true to the building’s unique iconic heritage. Rich cherry wood ceilings and spectacularly detailed moldings honor the past, while the finishes bring a modern twist to the room. Our carefully curated menu features sustainably sourced seafood, traditionally raised meats and a wide variety of artisanal offerings. The wine list celebrates an excellent selection of the best of the Pacific Northwest and top vintages from around the globe. Q at the Empress has received the Award of Excellence from Wine Spectator two years in a row.

Hours of Operation: Q Restaurant is open daily for breakfast from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.

The Veranda

A summer evening, harbor lights and the company you cherish -- shall we pop the cork? Dine al fresco this summer on The Veranda at The Fairmont Empress, where the views, the people watching and the sipping are the finest in the city.

The Veranda is open daily June through September from 11 a.m. to sundown for lunch and dinner.
