GASTRONOMY:
CHEF VIRGILIO MARTINEZ IN ATACAMA SOON
In the coming months, travelers at our Explora lodge in Atacama will be able to enjoy and explore this territory accompanied by a new culinary proposition designed by Virgilio Martínez, owner of “Central”, the second-best restaurant in the world according to The World’s 50 Best Restaurants 2022.
“We want to create a cuisine that makes sense with the place, with a very personal perspective that is neither Peruvian nor Chilean, but rather interpretative of what happens in Atacama, which is a very diverse and rich region. It will be a cuisine based on the environment, through which we will seek to connect to nature,” Virgilio Martínez said.
