Royal Caribbean’s new Utopia of the Seas® has arrived and it redefines the short getaway.
It’s time to boost the joys of the weekend even more with the debut of Royal Caribbean’s newest ship Utopia of the Seas®. The 5,668-guest vessel made her maiden voyage in July 2024 and offers three-night weekend and four-night weekday itineraries from Port Canaveral (Orlando), Florida to Royal Caribbean’s private island, Perfect Day at CocoCay, and Nassau, The Bahamas. These sailings may be short, but there’s a ton packed into the days and nights.
Bigger Ways to Splash
With five swimming pools and eight whirlpools on board Utopia of the Seas®, you can find your style whether you want to relax or seek non-stop excitement. The adults-only Solarium pool and the exclusive Suite Sun Deck promise tranquility. The resort-style and sloping beach-entry pools, The Perfect Storm trio of waterslides, the FlowRider surf simulator, and the 10-deck longest dry slide at sea keep the fun going. Make a splash at Perfect Day at CocoCay with a choice of 14 waterslides and the surf along seven stretches of beach. Fly high on a 1,600-foot-long zip line and a 450-foot-high helium balloon while at Royal Caribbean’s incomparable private island.
Bigger Ways to Dine
With more than 20 complimentary and specialty dining venues, you can enjoy your favorite international cuisines and style of dining from casual to immersive to upscale experiences. The new Royal Railway Utopia Station is an immersive five-course dining experience bringing you the flavors of America and the sights and sounds of the Wild West.
Also new, The Spare Tire food truck by the pool delights diners with sandwiches and other quick bites. Sushi and more can be tried at Izumi in the Park and the osso buco is a must at Giovanni’s Italian Kitchen and Wine Bar. Live country music is paired with Southern food at The Mason Jar. And not to be missed is the buffet boasting more than 200 five-star dishes each night. Other favorites include Johnny Rockets, Coastal Kitchen, Chops Grille, Hooked Seafood, and 150 Central Park.
Bigger Ways to Celebrate
The World’s Biggest Weekend on board Utopia of the Seas® means you’ll have plenty of time to celebrate you, your friends, family, and even the crew and other guests. It’s pure party time with more than 20 bars and lounges on the ship and an additional 18 bars at Perfect Day at CocoCay. Did someone say party? Choose from 10 parties throughout your cruise including four poolside, the Rezolution dance party with epic light projections, Spotlight Karaoke, Silent Toga!, Royal Kappa Chi—a throwback to your college days, and the late-night energy of the 18+ Red night club with a live DJ.
The ship boasts five live music venues, four shows, six places for dancing, a late-night adults-only comedy club, and two casinos with gaming options including more than 370 slot machines. And yes, that’s 68 TVs at Playmakers Sports Bar & Arcade. Don’t miss the new Pesky Parrot Caribbean tiki bar on board and the tunes of the 11 DJs both on board and at Perfect Day at CocoCay.
The Fun Continues on Land
The weekend just got even better with a full day at Royal Caribbean’s award-winning private island, Perfect Day at CocoCay. All the fun you’ll find on board Utopia of the Seas® keeps going on land at this action-packed island. Find your own special spot in the sun with seven beaches and pools galore, plus private cabanas for rent. Take on the challenge of the 135-foot-tall Daredevils Peak, pair up in a raft on The Twister winding tube slide, or spend time in one of the Caribbean’s biggest wave pools.
Chill Island is where you can snorkel or take a guided jet ski tour. Coco Beach Club is an exclusive private retreat with such delights as an infinity pool and overwater cabanas. It’s all about the adults at Hideaway Beach, where it’s an all-day party at the swim-up Hideaway Bar with dancing to DJ sets or at On the Rocks for live music and a view with your beer or cocktail. And there’s no shortage of sun-in-the-fun dining while on the island with nine places to choose from, whether it’s the two buffets, tacos, wings, pizza, or the Coco Beach Club Restaurant.
