Since humans first took flight in hot air balloons in 1783, this mode of transportation has been one of the most exciting ways to get a bird’s-eye perspective of our beloved world. Hot air balloons rides are exhilarating and can be experienced across the globe. Many hot air balloons soar over incredible landscapes and fascinating ancient monuments. Floating over such beautiful locations is truly mesmerizing.
Gliding in the sky in a basket secured to a massive balloon may seem daunting but it’s typically a smooth ride as pilots don’t launch balloons if the weather conditions are unfavorable and fully brief you on the safety protocols. For the best views, stand in a corner of the basket to enjoy panoramic vistas. Here are six of the best hot air balloon rides in the world.
